YEIS for the School Year 2013 – 2014 applies the CVIF – DYNAMIC LEARNING PROGRAM, the holistic updated application of strategic learning on students. Empirically based principles and maxims serve as a guide for the choice of strategies whether traditional or modern in this Dynamic Learning Program.
In the traditional class, teachers work 80% with more talking and less student activity. 20% without absorption of lessons. In the Dynamic Learning Program, it is the other way around. Teachers role is 20% and students work 80%. teachers lecture for a maximum of 20 minutes with lesson preparation of 100% readiness of lesson everyday to serve the students. DLP strategies is proven effective in student retention in lessons taken up.
Also in the Dynamic Learning Program the students free themselves from homework or take home projects. Home is supposed to be the place to relax and engage themselves with other household chores or activities. However, if the students failed to perform their school work satisfactorily, they were advise to review their lessons and do their projects at home.
Every week there is activity day. Wednesday is designed to do practical arts and project making day of the students. It is also the day where the students display their skills and talents. Physical activities were done to make the students physically fit not only mentally. Clubs were also done every Wednesday to enhance their skills and help them to be developed socially. No books to be brought. Only necessary materials for the given activity that will be performed on that day.
